California State Preschool (CSPP), administered through CDE, provides full- or part-day no-cost preschool for income-eligible 3- and 4-year-olds at over 1,800 sites statewide. Many CSPP classrooms are housed at LAUSD, Oakland Unified, and other public-school campuses, easing transitions to kindergarten.
