The Salvation Army in Alaska provides emergency food boxes, meal programs, and holiday food assistance for women and families in need. The Anchorage Corps at 707 W International Airport Rd operates food distribution Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. Call 907-349-0613 for eligibility and pickup information. Bring ID and proof of address. Bean's Cafe at 1101 E 3rd Ave, Anchorage provides free hot daily meals open to anyone experiencing food insecurity, including women and families. Bean's Cafe also offers emergency food boxes and operates the Children's Lunchbox program providing meals for kids across Anchorage.
