The VA Beneficiary Travel program provides free or reimbursed transportation to VA medical appointments for eligible veterans including women veterans. Qualifying veterans may receive mileage reimbursement for driving, or free rides through the DAV Volunteer Transportation Network. Contact your local VA medical center travel office to apply. Eligibility is based on disability rating, financial need, or treatment type. Women veterans should ask their VA patient advocate about transportation options when scheduling appointments.
